Wine Tasting at Home

You are very welcome to the Brigaldara Winery and it will be my pleasure to help you discover, taste and find out more about Brigaldara wines and the centuries old history of this beautiful place where I live.
I organize two types of tours at my family wine estate:

1) Only wine tasting

(Soave, Valpolicella classico,
Ripasso, Amarone Classico, Amarone Case Vecie and Recioto)

2) Food and wine tasting

For both tours I usually like to start with a short walk through the vineyards of our wine estate, set in a beautiful landscape, during which I describe the characteristics of the soils, the grapes varieties and the different types of vine-training systems as well as the history of the Villa and my family. Afterwards you can visit the cellar where our Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto wines are aging in either casks or in Slovenian oak barrels and then you will have the opportunity to taste and appreciate our wines. This first guided wine-tasting tour lasts approximately one and a half hours.

   

The second wine-tasting is designed more for food and wine enthusiasts interested in learning how to combine Valpolicella wines with local food. This wine-tasting takes place in my apartment within the Villa. Here too you will have a guided tour with a short visit of the Brigaldara family estate with its beautiful garden, secular trees and wine cellar. In the friendly and family-style atmosphere of my apartment you will be offered a selection of local salamis and cheeses with classic Valpolicella wines, and home-made cakes combined with our traditional sweet wines such as Recioto and Passito. This second guided food and wine tour lasts approximately two and a half hours.
